AUE Team Players

 

Our Actors

The lifeblood of AUE characters is our team of amazing actors.  Entertaining, fearless and funny, they bring years of professional experience to every event.  Fluent in several languages, many are members of various Improv troupes and have toured the globe performing their own original material as well as theatrical and musical productions. You may have seen some of them on the big screen, television shows or commercials.  Collectively they have received dozens of Canadian Comedy Awards for Improv and Sketch Comedy. AUE also works with recent Vancouver Film School grads to develop their skills for interactive entertainment.

Roger Haskett - The Big Cheese

Roger is a creative force within the entertainment industry.  In 1992 he founded AUE and quickly carved a name for himself as an outstanding creative director for designing live interactive entertainment. In addition to running a successful entertainment company, he is dedicated to developing new acting talent at Vancouver Film School and at his own “Acting Through Auditioning” private classes.  Roger’s personal acting career spans over 150 films, TV shows, plays, musicals and commercials. A true Renaissance man, he can also be found directing, producing, and writing original content. His love for innovation, collaboration and play brings an explosive energy to all of his projects. Roger holds a BFA in Acting and a MA in Education from the University of British Columbia.

Jenny Stanfield - Event Coordinator & Office Manager

Jenny’s unique balance of systems management and communication skills ensures flawless entertainment delivery.  On any given day she is collaborating with our clients on their event needs, casting actors and coordinating numerous event details while managing our office administration and supporting our marketing efforts. Well versed in the entertainment industry, she has collaborated with writers for copyediting, storyboards, film & television scripts. She has a BA in Communications, Simon Fraser University.

Jessica Dmytryshyn - Costume Designer

Jess has been making costumes come to life since she learned to sew.   With a passion for colour, texture and movement, her costumes are not only visual works of art but also highly functional. In addition to designing costumes for AUE characters and managing our costume shop, she is actively involved with theatrical and musical productions.  Jess holds a Bachelor of Applied Design in Fashion Design & Technology, Kwantlen Polytecnic University. She is an Instructor at Kwantlen’s Fashion Design Department.

  

 

Lee Patola - Production Assistant

Theatrical production is in Lee’s blood.   With a background in both visual and performing arts, she has worked as a Set Designer and Assistant Director for the Arts Umbrella Theatre, and as Stage Manager and Props Head for various theatrical productions.  Her well-rounded entertainment experience includes stints as an actor too.  Lee currently attends the University of British Columbia.

 

 

 

Laura Tetzlaff - Marketing & Business Development Consultant

Laura provides integrated marketing and business development services to the AUE team. She spearheaded the rebrand of our company, and continues to offer strategic marketing consultation to help build lasting client and partner relationships. Laura’s fingerprints are all over the company, from copywriting to event planning, social media implementation and business infrastructure build-out. With over 15 years experience developing revenue generating programs and branded environments for the business event, tourism and hospitality industries, she brings a wealth of tactical and strategic leadership to the table.
